SMEG - 50’s Style Manual Espresso Machine ECF00

Authentic Italian espresso in an unmistakably SMEG design.

The SMEG ECF00 Manual Espresso Machine combines compact proportions, simple controls and iconic 50’s Style design with the essentials required for everyday espresso at home. Made in Italy, it features Thermoblock heating, a 15-bar pump and a stainless-steel 51 mm filter holder for preparing single or double espresso.

Use your favourite freshly ground coffee or compatible paper pods, personalize the beverage length and choose from three coffee-temperature levels. Its narrow 149 mm body makes the ECF00 especially well suited to kitchens and coffee stations where counter space is limited.

Thermoblock Heating System

The Thermoblock heating system brings water to the appropriate brewing temperature efficiently while helping maintain consistent performance for everyday espresso preparation.

15-Bar Pump

The integrated 15-bar pump provides the pressure required for espresso preparation, helping produce a rich extraction and crema when the coffee is correctly ground and dosed.

51 mm Stainless-Steel Filter Holder

The ECF00 uses a 51 mm stainless-steel filter holder and includes dedicated baskets for one cup, two cups and compatible paper coffee pods.

Single or Double Espresso at the Touch of a Button

Dedicated beverage buttons provide quick access to single and double espresso preparation, while the adjustable coffee-length function lets you personalize the volume to your preference.

Three Coffee Temperature Levels

Choose between low, medium and high coffee-temperature settings to adapt the machine to different coffees and personal preferences.

Ground Coffee or Paper Pods

Prepare espresso with freshly ground coffee or compatible paper pods. Separate included filters make it easy to switch between the two preparation styles.

Compact 50’s Style Design

At only 149 mm wide, the ECF00 brings SMEG’s rounded retro styling to a particularly compact format. The glossy black body, polished chrome base and stainless-steel cup tray create a distinctive countertop presence without occupying unnecessary space.

Removable Drip Tray for Larger Cups

The removable drip tray simplifies cleaning and creates additional clearance when using taller cups or mugs.

Removable 1.1 L Water Tank

The removable water reservoir holds approximately 37.2 fl. oz. and can be removed for easier filling and cleaning.

Helpful Maintenance Alerts

The machine provides alerts for an empty water tank and for descaling, helping make routine care easier to manage.
